13th National Voters Day celebrated in Seraikela-Kharsawan

Seraikela, Jan 25: The 13thNational Voters Day was celebrated with fervour in Seraikela-Kharsawan at Town Hall, Seraikela. A district level programme was organized on this occasion by the district administration. Principal District and Sessions Judge Vijay Kumar presided over the programme. He administered an oath to all present to exercise their voting rights in a free and fair manner. He congratulated one and all on the occasion of Voters Day.

Deputy Commissioner cum District Returning Officer Arava Rajkamal, Deputy Development Commissioner Praveen Kumar Gagrai and other senior district officials were present during the programme.

In his address, the DC said all voters should be aware of their voting rights and utilize the same to strengthen the democracy. He further observed that voters determine the future of the country as their precious vote elects policy makers.

The DC appealed to all voters to exercise their voting rights and spread awareness among others to do the same. New voters should exercise their voting rights without fail, he said. The DC praised all booth level officers (BLOs) and BLO supervisors for their hard work and dedication.
