Jamshedpur, June 21: A 12 day programme has been lined up to celebrate the Foundation Day of the Jamshedpur chapter of ICAI which is on July 1. The programmes got underway today with discussion on the facets of the latest income tax features.
In view of maintaining the protocols of protection against COVID-19 infection, the programmes have been planned on digital platform. The keynote speaker on today�s topic was central council member of New Delhi, Pramod Jain. He highlighted the main points related to filing of income tax returns as per the new guidelines. Rajesh Agrawal presided the first day�s session today. The session was moderated by ICAI secretary Sugam Saraiwala. The welcome address was delivered by ICAI Jamshedpur chairman Sanjay Goyal. Yogesh Sharma offered the vote of thanks. 150 members of the city participated in the proceedings from their homes and offices vide the digital platform. The organizers included Vikas Agrawal, Pankaj Shingari and members of the Jamshedpur branch managing committee.
The ICAI branch chairman Sanjay Goyal and secretary Sugam Saraiwala informed that the 12 day programme will include participation of members and their families in the International Yoga Day, happiness and healing programmes, blood donation, special webinar for women members, tree plantation, food distribution among poor and needy, honouring of senior members of the organizations and other events.
ICAI executives who will organize the 12 day Foundation Day celebrations include Dinesh Chowdhary, Anil Agrawal, Manish Moonka, Kishan Chowdhary, Daya Shankar and others.
