Jamshedpur: BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Ranchi have been working hard to bring poor people, Adivasis and other deprived people to the social mainstream. This was observed by NDA candidate from Jamshedpur Parliamentary seat, Bidyut Baran Mahato, on Saturday at a meeting of party workers held in Narga under MGM police station area.
Mahato discussed development issues with the party workers of MGM Mandal unit and also spoke about election strategy. He said the party workers should reach out to the masses by visiting each and every household. He said the BJP was committed to providing similar civic amenities in urban and rural areas.
The BJP leader recounted the achievements of the state government. He said the BJP had for the first time formed the Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Commission in Jharkhand and that it had also provided electricity supply and roads in each and every village. So far, a total of 1,19,858 families have benefitted under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Scheme in Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency, he said.
