Gamharia : A camp was organised at Gamharia block on Tuesday in which students of SC, ST and most backward class were given cycles. The chief guest Tribal Welfare Minister Champai Soren gave bicycles to the children.
He said that the Government was making every effort to help children. Similarly, the school children living two kilometers to go – to avoid getting into trouble , the government is providing them bicycles .
A total of 1149 children were provided with cycles. Devgam Sadhucharan block development officer Lakhi Ram Baske , Gauri Shankar Sahu, Ramdas Tudu, Ganesh Mahato , Amrit Mahato. were present at the function.
