Jamshedpur, Sept 6: Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur plant is expected to give about 11 percent bonus this year.
Tata Motors Union president Gurmit Singh Tote and general secretary RK Singh have sent a letter to the management.
The committee members have authorized the president and the general Secretary for talks. In Tata Motors, employees are made permanent with bonus every year. It is expected that this year an agreement will be reached to make more than 200 By/six employees permanent.
The company has made good profits in the financial year 2022-2023. The expansion work of the company is going on. The management has given good dividend to the shareholders. For this reason, employees expect that there will be more than 10 percent bonus.
If we look at the figures of the last 10 years, the employees have received around 10 percent bonus for the last six years and every year workers have been made permanent.
So far the least 150 employees have been made permanent. This time this figure is expected to increase. Bonus talks may pick up pace from next week.
Incidentally, the bonus for the financial year 2021-2022 was 10.67 percent. In this, 201 By/six employees were made permanent. Last year, employees got a maximum of Rs 51,500 and an average of Rs 38,200. 5800 permanent employees of Tata Motors got bonus. 3700 by/ six employees working in the company had received 8.33 percent bonus.
