Chaibasa, Aug 21: The 10th District Open Yoga Championship was organized by District Yoga Association in association with SR Rungta Group at Pillai Hall in Chaibasa on Sunday. The championship was jointly inaugurated by SP Ashutosh Shekhar and Civil Surgeon Dr. Jujhar Majhi. Present on the occasion were District Olympic Association President Nitin Prakash, Senior Vice President of Yoga Association Pradeep Pasari and Kanhaiya Lal Agarwal.
A total of 192 participants from across the district participated in the competition. SP Ashutosh Shekhar encouraged the participants and said that every participant gives best performance but only top three get awards. One must not get discouraged and train extra hard to prepare for the next stage. Civil Surgeon said that everyone should compulsorily include yoga in their daily routine which leads to physical and development.
