Jamshedpur, Feb. 1: As part of 70th Saastha Preeti Celebrations at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple today, the pujas commenced with Ganapati puja, installation of 1024 kalash. Later on avahan was performed of these kalash and abhishek was performed for Lord Ganesh, Lord Karthik and Lord Ayyappa with 338 kalash each.
Later on Shringar was done for the 3 deities and maha arati was shown.
Maha Deeparadhana was held after which Prasad was distributed to hundreds of devotees by volunteers of the temple.
In the afternoon women members of the temple chanted Narayaneeyam. In the evening a South Indian bhajan programme was organised in which Shri Papanasam Ramani Bhagavathar and group from Chennai sang the bhajan which enthralled the audience.
