Jamshedpur : A youth was killed and another injured in a mishap, which took place at Jubilee Park under Bistupur police station on Sunday morning.
A 20-year-old youth died and another youth who was a pillion-rider was seriously injured as the bike they were riding hit a water-tank while performing a dare devil stunt on the road along the lake at Jubilee Park this morning.
The injured were rushed to the Tata Main Hospital, where the rider as Sumeet Kumar, a resident of Bagbera Colony died.
The other youth whose identity was yet to be ascertained also sustained serious injury. He too was admitted to the Tata Main Hospital where his condition is said to be serious.
Officer-in-charge, Bistupur police station, Jitendra Kumar confirmed about the mishap at the Jubilee Park. He informed that two youth who sustained serious injuries while performing stunt at Jubilee Park had been admitted to the Tata Main Hospital.
One of them died, where as the other one is struggling for his life.He said the police have seized the bike from the site, adding that they were trying to find out the identity of the injured youth.
