Jamshedpur, May 3: Srinath University’s School of Commerce and Management organized a Two-Day Workshop, ‘SPSS: An Introduction,’ aimed at enhancing research methodologies and data analysis skills among academia and students.
The event, graced by Chancellor Sukhdev Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S N Singh, Dean of Administration J Rajesh, and HOD of the School of Commerce and Management Dr. Mrityunjay Mahato, witnessed the presence of faculty members, industry experts, and participants.
Dr. Kamala Kanti Das, a renowned research analyst from Paper Pedia Pvt Ltd, delivered the keynote address, shedding light on the significance of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) in academic and professional spheres.
Drawing nearly 150 participants from renowned institutions including YBN University, GSCW Jamshedpur, Usha Martin University, and others, the workshop fostered a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange.
The workshop’s agenda included research orientation, discussions on research methodologies, and comprehensive sessions on SPSS, covering descriptive statistics, regression, and correlation analysis. Hands-on training sessions were also conducted to impart practical skills in utilizing SPSS software effectively.
