Jamshedpur, October 4: On the 3rd day of Wildlife Week Celebrations 2024 at the Tata Steel Zoological Park, an On-the-Spot Essay Writing Competition in Hindi and English Category for school students from Std. IX to XII was organized.
The topics for the Essay Competition were related to this year’s theme: “Partnerships for Wildlife Conservation: Our Land, Our Future” & “Wildlife Conservation through Co-existence”.
For English: Explain the mutual benefits of coexistence for people and animals
89 students participated from 9 different schools. The essays will be evaluated by juries and result of the winners will be announced on 5th October, 2024.
The prize distribution ceremony for On-the-Spot Essay writing competition will take place in the Zoo Main Lawn, at Tata Steel Zoological Park during the closing ceremony on 06th October, 2024 from 1:30 pm onwards.
Wildlife Week celebrations 2024 is being coordinated by Dr. Seema Rani, Biologist cum Education Officer, Tata Steel Zoological Park, Zoo staff – Mr. Pratap Gill, Volunteers from TSF and Sayok Sarkar – Zoo Intern-cum-Volunteer.
Tomorrow, Fancy dress parade is scheduled for tender group of Nursery to Std. I.
