Jamshedpur: On the occasion of Gangour and Jwara immersion ceremony at Jayanti Sarovar in Jubilee Park, the Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan and Jeen Mata Parivar members placed banners at vantage points to urge members of the community to exercise their franchise. The women devotees present took a leading part in the awareness drive. They said that every citizen should cast his or her vote to strengthen democracy.
The religious proceedings at Thakurbari Road in Sakchi and in Jubilee Park were organized under the leadership of Marwari Sammelan Sakchi branch president Om Prakash Ringasia.
