Jamshedpur, Dec 4: With a view to increase voting percentage in Jadugoda and nearby areas, UCIL management conducted a voters� awareness workshop for Gram Pradhans at the Community Development Centre in Jadugoda.
Participants were told about the importance of voting and how it strengthened the foundation of democracy. The participants were also urged to spread the message and ensure total community participation in voting. UCIL Deputy Manager D Hansda conducted the workshop.
The Gram Pradhans who participated in the workshop were Somesh Mandal, Durla Murmu, Arjun Murmu, Bolai Soren, Shyam Murmu, Tar Singh and others.
The UCIL team comprised Nehru Majhi, Vakil Hembram, Mohan Murmu, Mirja Majhi, Kunwar Majhi and Suresh Lal.
