Jamshedpur: BJP’s Bidyut Baran Mahto who won the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat, defeating sitting MP and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) Ajay Kumar by 99,874 votes held a mega road show in Steel city which was kicked off from Co-operative College soon after the results were announced.
The party workers celebrated the victory with crackers and sweets. A scence of Holi and Diwali was created as the final results were announced, party workers with gulal played with each other and senior party leaders were also included in the celebration. Ex-MLA Saryu Rai, former BJP State President Dr. Dineshanand Goswami and Binod Singh were part of the lively atmosphere created by the party workers.
Mahato the first time MP after collecting his certifiate from returning officer landed into an open jeep all decorated with flowers and a big lotus with workers sorrounding it just outside the main gate of the college at around 5.30 on Friday evening.
A large crowd along with hundreds of BJP workers along with the jeep first reached Nirmal Mahato�s Mausoleum situated at Uliyan, Kadma and after spending few minutes there the procession headed towards late ex-Dy. CM of Jharkhand and JMM leader Sudhir Mahato�s house, Bidyut Mahto met Savita Mahato and seeked her blessings.
