UCIL employee narrowly escapes from falling tree

Jamshedpur, September 10: Uranium Corporation of India Ltd (UCIL) employee Purushottam Pati and his family narrowly escaped a horrific incident when a huge tree fell on their B Type Quarter at UCIL residential colony in Jaduguda late on Friday night.

The incident damaged their car, garage and their quarter and a loss of Rs 1 lakh has been estimated.

A huge dried up tree smashed into a peepal tree and during the crash a part of the tree feel on the residence of UCIL employee.

Hearing the loud noise, Purushottam Pati woke up and went outside and saw that his garage was all ruined. He soon informed about the incident to his department officer Prabhakar Tripathy.
