Jamshedpur: The annual Tusu Puja was celebrated with devotion and cultural fervour in Dhatkidih, as Jharkhand BJP State Spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale participated in the festivities organised by the Mukhi community.
Kale took part in traditional rituals, offered prayers, and joined children and local residents in festive dances, adding to the celebratory spirit of the occasion. Addressing the gathering, he described the Tusu festival as a powerful symbol of Jharkhand’s folk faith, traditions, and rich cultural heritage.
He said such festivals play a vital role in promoting brotherhood, social harmony, and unity, while also ensuring that the state’s cultural roots are preserved and passed on to future generations. Kale prayed to Goddess Tusu for happiness, prosperity, peace, and well-being for all, and praised the Mukhi community for organising the event in a grand and disciplined manner.
The celebrations saw enthusiastic participation from community elders, women, youth, and children, creating a vibrant atmosphere marked by devotion, rituals, and cultural performances.
The event once again underscored the enduring importance of traditional festivals in strengthening community bonds and celebrating Jharkhand’s unique cultural identity.
