Jamshedpur: The last rites of Shankar Joshi, a Bharatiya Janata Party activist and social worker, were performed at Swarnarekha Ghat on Sunday.
Many politicians, social workers and other well-wishers of the deceased paid tributes to him on the occasion. Joshi died of brain haemorrhage during treatment at Kantilal Gandhi Memorial Hospital yesterday.
Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda and other BJP leaders have condoled the death.
