TRF to launch ‘Second Innings’ Voluntary Retirement Scheme from June

Jamshedpur: TRF Ltd. is set to roll out its ‘Second Innings’ Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS), aimed at acknowledging the contributions of its long-serving employees and supporting them in their next phase of life. The scheme will be open from June 1 to June 30, 2025, for both Officers and Non-Officers who are on permanent rolls, have reached the age of 40, and completed at least 10 years of continuous service as of March 31, 2025.
The VRS package offers employees the choice of a one-time lump sum or a monthly pension for up to five years, with a financial payout ranging from 50% to 75% of their current gross monthly salary. The scheme ensures a respectful and financially stable transition for those opting to take a step back from active service.
In addition, employees availing the scheme will continue to enjoy company accommodation for up to one year and will retain access to medical benefits until their notional retirement age. Through this initiative, TRF aims to support its employees in pursuing their personal aspirations while ensuring their well-being.
