Tree plantation drive in Dugdha Primary School

Jamshedpur, July 20: The Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena and International Human Rights Association (IHRA) jointly organized a tree plantation and water conservation drive in the Upgraded Primary School in Dugdha Panchayat. The teachers and students undertook to take care of the saplings planted and to nurture them.

Speaking on the occasion IHRA�s state general secretary Manju Singh explained to the children the benefits of planting trees and informed them about the importance of water conservation. IHRA�s national secretary Usha Singh stressed that the future of life and the next generation of human beings lay in ensuring a clean environment and added, �We have to protect trees and plants. We have to nurture our jungles, mountains, hills and rivers. It is important that we do not waste even a drop of water. We should think of ways to conserve all our water resources including rain water.�

The joint team comprised IHRA district president Mira Tiwary, Karni Sena executive member Rajshri, Bum Bhola Singh, Mukhiya Malati Hansda, Nirmal Kumar, Nitu Singh, Sangita Singh, Ankita Sinha and Rani Gupta. A lot of villagers were also present on the occasion.

People were urged to avoid the use of plastic and water wastage.
