Ranchi: Jharkhand is all set to welcome the dignitaries from Mining and Mineral industry for its maiden Jharkhand Mining Show (JMS) 2017 � Mining and Minerals Summit � being organized by the Department of Industries Mines & Geology, Government of Jharkhand in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The event is going to be organised from 30th October to 1st November 2017 at HEC Ground, Ranchi. The summit targets the Mining and allied industries. The JMS will have various technical sessions during this summit on subjects related to mines and minerals, this will help in coming up with new ideas that will help the state in creating new avenues in mining and strategizing long term mining policy.
The JMS 2017 will be inaugurated by Raghubar Das, Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Railways and Coal will be the Chief Guest during the inaugural session of the event. Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Mines will be the Chief Guest in the Valedictory Session.
Many leading industry titans in sector of Mining and Minerals will be here in Ranchi to attend the event namely- Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Resources; Kamal Bali, Managing Director, Volvo India Ltd; Rajesh Adani, MD, Adani Group, Gopal Singh, Chairman, Coal India Ltd.
The special attraction of JMS 2017 will be the exhibition which will be in an area of 3000 sqmt. The Prominent exhibitors in mining expo are Tata Steel, CIL, HEC, Thriveni Earthmovers, BVEML, NTPC, SAIL, NMDC, L&T, JSW, Tata Hitachi, BKT, Bharat Benz, Tata Motors, TIPL, etc.
Secretary Industries Mining and Geology, Government of Jharkhand Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal along with Commissioner of Mines, Government of Jharkhand Aboobacker Siddique on Friday inspected the ongoing preparation at HEC Ground, Near Prabhat Tara School, Ranchi.
The event partner CII updated the delegation regarding developments on ground works for the distinguished event. Secretary Industries Mines & Geology gave necessary directions and inputs to the CII and government officials present for organizing a successful event.
