Jamshedpur: A Dalit woman from West Ghorabandha panchayat under Telco PS, identified as Agni Gope, and her minor daughter are reportedly being threatened by the accused of toilet scam. This was claimed by the BJP district spokesperson Ankit Anand on Sunday.
The BJP leader called Telco police in Kharangajhar and demanded action against the culprits. He said the police should immediately arrest those threatening Agni Gope and her 10 year old daughter.
Agni Gope has submitted a written complaint at Telco PS. She has accused the supporters of the local Mukhiya and one Deepak Sinha, husband of a Jal Sahiya, of entering her house and threatening her of dire consequences. Sinha allegedly asked the woman to construct a toilet in her house within two days, Anand said.
The BJP spokesperson said the accused persons were involved in a big toilet scam. He sought a fair probe into the scam.
