Jamshedpur, March 16: The 55th Annual Conference of the Clinical Society of Tata Main Hospital will be held in TMH Auditorium on March 17 and 18.
The conference will be inaugurated by Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, on March 17, 2018 at 4:00 pm. The conference would witness seven guest lectures, including a talk by Dr. Thomas Alexander from Coimbatore and Dr. Kunal Sarkar from Kolkata among others.
Additionally, there will be three hands-on-workshops on surgical suturing, Echocardiography and pacemaker implantation with a virtual cath lab simulator, presentations by TMH doctors on their scientific work in the form of papers and posters, panel discussion and a medi quiz.
The valedictory function will be held on March 18, 2018, when prizes for the best presentations will be awarded.
Earlier, public awareness sessions on diabetes, motherhood and dealing with difficult children were held followed by continuing medical education sessions for DNB (Diplomate of National Board) students.
