Jamshedpur: A 17 year-old youth, identified as Shahid Akhtar, son of Zamil Akhtar, was shot at by assailants in Munshi Mohulla on Thursday. He was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to Tata Main Hospital where doctors declared him out of danger.
sources said armed assailants fired at Shahid near his house at Post Office Road. The cause of the incident is not known yet. Mango police lodged an FIR in this connection. They said an investigation was on to find the cause of the incident.
