
Jamshedpur: The 11th Technical Exhibition �Tech-Ex� by Capability Development department, Tata Steel at the Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute (SNTI) witnessed a heavy footfall on Day 2 today. People from all walks of life paid a visit to the exhibition including students from various schools & colleges. In the evening, a cultural programme was also organised and the performances by the trainees enthralled the audience.
Keeping in line with the theme of �Technovation at work� with a tag line of �Brighter tomorrow starts today�, the trainees exhibited various innovative projects of scientific & engineering marvel having a potential of wide application across the country such as Smart Blind stick, Digital solution for city management, Drone Painting, Human Powered Crop Harvester, Automatic car window in emergency, Safety Helmet for Confined Space besides others.
During the exhibition, many theme-based events will be organised such as Sketching, Photography, Quiz and Treasure-hunt. The themes for Sketching competition held today were, Tata Steel – we also make tomorrow, Digtalisation, Innovation & Technology and Beat Plastic Pollution. The exhibition will conclude on March 3.
