Tata Steel UISL inaugurates 1000 KLD Sewage Pumping Station in Jamshedpur’s Ramnagar

Jamshedpur, June 26: Tata Steel UISL inaugurated a state-of-the-art 1000 KLD Sewage Pumping Station (SPS) in Ramnagar, Sonari marking a significant expansion of the Sonari SPS. The facility was inaugurated today by Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairman, Tata Steel UISL, alongside Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL, and Raghunath Pandey, President, JUSCO Shramik Union.

The event was graced by the presence of the Varun Bajaj, Chief Town Infrastructure & Logistics, Sanjeev Kumar Jha, General Manager, Water and Wastewater Management, Tata Steel UISL, Senior Leadership Team, Senior Officials of Tata Steel and JUSCO Shramik Union office bearers reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainable urban infrastructure and community development.

The 1000 KLD Sewage Pumping Station in Ramnagar is designed to handle a substantial volume of sewage, ensuring efficient and effective waste management. This project underscores Tata Steel UISL’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and its role as a responsible corporate citizen.
