Jamshedpur, January 27, 2026: Tata Steel, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) Jamshedpur Chapter and the Pellet Manufacturers Association of India (PMAI), will be hosting International Conference on Sintering, Pelletizing & Briquetting (ICSPB) 2026. The event will be held on January 29th and 30th at The Alcor Hotel in Jamshedpur, bringing together global thought leaders, industry experts, and researchers.
ICSPB 2026 aims to serve as a premier platform to advance innovation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in iron ore preparation, a cornerstone of efficient BF–BOF steelmaking. The hybrid-format conference will spotlight emerging trends and technologies focused on decarbonization, operational efficiency, resource optimization, and cost reduction, aligning with the steel industry’s transition toward sustainable and low‑carbon production pathways.
