Tata Steel Table Tennis Cadets win 32 medals at Jharkhand State Championship

Jamshedpur, December 19: Tata Steel Table Tennis Training Centre cadets representing East Singbhum district exhibited spectacular performance clinching a total of 32 medals during Jharkhand State Table Tennis Championship.

Overall training center students bagged 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 17 Bronze medals in the championship held at Ranchi, Khelgaon (National Games Sports Complex) from December 14 to 17

Chief Sports, Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari interacted with the winners. He congratulated them and wished more success in future tournaments.

O P Mishra, Patron East Singbhum District Table Tennis Association, Dinesh Rakshit, senior state player, Coach and manager sports were also present in the interaction.

With all out support by Sports Department of Tata Steel, Table Tennis Training Centre surpassed last year medal tally of 61 as well as yearly target of 70 medal, by securing 77 medals this year in State Ranking tournaments.
