Tata Steel launches first electric truck at West Bokaro, boosts net zero drive

Jamshedpur, January 21: Tata Steel today marked a significant milestone in its journey towards sustainable operations with the launch of its first-ever Electric Truck at the Washery #3 Complex, Coal Beneficiation Plant, West Bokaro. This pioneering initiative, a first for the company’s Raw Material Division, underscores Tata Steel’s unwavering commitment to achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2045.

The strategic deployment of the electric truck is a result of invaluable partnerships with Montra Electric and Tycoon Industries Pvt. Ltd., reflecting a shared vision for a greener future in heavy industry.
