Jamshedpur : Tata Steel executive, Ratnesh Raj (27), who succumbed to his bullet injuries at Medanta Medicity in Gurgaon on Friday, was cremated at the Lodhi Road crematorium in Delhi today.
On March 10, equipment maintenance department executive Ratnesh Raj was shot at and injured near Ghorabandha. He was initially admitted at Tata Motors Hospital, but was later on Tuesday afternoon shifted to the Tata Main Hospital’s CCU for better care but was letter flown to Medicity where he died.
One of the shots had crossed through the victim’s right chest, another bullet had hit his shoulder and yet another bullet had stuck in the victim’s lower abdomen, rupturing the liver.
A post-mortem on Ratnesh’s body was conducted at a Delhi hospital and later the body was handed over to the murder victim’s uncle AK Ojha.
One of the shots had crossed through the victim’s right chest, another bullet had hit his shoulder and yet another bullet had stuck in the victim’s lower abdomen, rupturing the liver.
Ratnesh’s uncle AK Ojha who was staying with his ailing nephew all through this time said that there was serious infection in the liver. Ojha, who is a resident of Baridih, said his nephew has not given statement to anyone ever since he was admitted in the Tata Motors Hospital after the attack on him.
