Jamshedpur: Tarapore School, Jamshedpur celebrated a proud moment with the launch of two Financial Literacy books authored by its Principal, Ishita Dey. The event also highlighted her remarkable 20-year journey at the institution, beginning in 2005 as a KG Teacher and rising through key leadership roles to become Principal in 2021.
Dey, a recipient of the prestigious President’s Award in 2020 and an honouree of Prabhat Khabar in 2025, has now added “author” to her list of achievements. Her newly published books for Classes 9 and 10 aim to empower students with essential financial skills.
During the ceremony, Vice Chairperson Rubina and Education Consultant Nargis Madon felicitated Dey with a bouquet and shawl. The Managing Committee — Chairman Bodhanwala and Madon — formally released the first copies of the books in the presence of parents and staff.
The event concluded with applause for a leader whose dedication continues to inspire the Tarapore School community.
