Tangrain school: workshop held on nutrition garden

Jamshedpur: A one day workshop on nutrition garden was organized at Upgraded Middle School, Tangrain, in Potka on Tuesday. It was held in collaboration with CWS. The resource-person of the workshop was Durga Prasad Pradhan of DRCSC, Kolkata. There were 60 �Nutrition Heroes� at the workshop.
�The workshop was highly beneficial for our students who were made Nutrition Hero with the view to enable them to understand the importance of nutrition for a healthy life,� said the school headmaster Arbind Tiwary.
The students were informed about safe food, waste analyzing and composting technique, pot gardening and usage of food chain and medicinal plants in kitchen gardens.
