Students’ talent to the fore at NTTF Jamshedpur Tech Fest

Jamshedpur: Two-day ‘Tech Fest’ kicked off at RD Tata Technical Institute (NTTF) Golmuri with great enthusiasm as students showcased their innovative projects, offering a glimpse into the potential future of modern India. The event, inaugurated by chief guest Ajay Kumar, commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Preeta John emphasized the institute’s commitment to fostering new thinking, innovation, and technical capabilities among students. The annual Tech Fest serves as a platform to showcase these skills, inspiring a better future. This year’s edition boasts participation from 14 schools and numerous technical institutes, each contributing to the exhibition with their unique projects.

District Employment Officer Ajay Kumar Verma, who inaugurated the Tech Fest, encouraged students to design models that find practical applications in everyday life. He emphasized the importance of transforming talent into tangible models that can enhance daily experiences, praising participants for their technical prowess and innovative spirit.

Among the participating schools are Sister Nivedita English High School, Motilal Nehru Public School, Ramakrishna Mission, People’s Academy High School, Guru Gobind High School, Kasidih High School, Adivasi High School, Tata Workers Union High School, South Point School, KSMS, Tinplate Inter College, Golmuri Utkal Samaj Middle-High School, and Andhra Association Hindi School.

The Tech Fest also saw the active involvement of the institute’s leadership, including Vice Principal Ramesh Rai and notable personalities like B Pacharya, Shivaprasad, Manjar, and Anil. Teachers such as Javali, Laxman, Pankaj, Manjula Mrinmoy, Ejaz, Preeti, Hiresh, Rajeev, Mithila, Neha, and others were also integral to the success of the program.
