St. John’s High School Appoints New Student Cabinet

Jamshedpur: St. John’s High School, Jugsalai, formally inducted its Student Cabinet for the 2026–27 academic session during an enthusiastic ceremony on Monday. The event aimed to instill leadership, responsibility, and discipline as students pledged to serve their institution.

A Call to Service Principal Ashu Tiwary opened the session by urging the new leaders to execute their duties with honesty and dedication. She emphasized that cabinet members must act as role models for the entire student body. Vice Principal P. Ravi Kumar echoed these sentiments, noting that true leadership stems from a spirit of service rather than just a title.

During the ceremony, the newly elected members took a formal oath to uphold the school’s dignity, maintain strict discipline, and advocate for the welfare of their peers.

The New Leadership Team The school appointed the following students to key positions for the 2026–27 session:

  • Head Boy & Head Girl: Yashwardhan Sharma and Ashika Sharma

  • Assistant Head Boy & Assistant Head Girl: Vishal Rajak and Anjali Kumari

  • Head Councillor: Pratishtha Sharma (Jupiter House)

House Leadership:

  • Jupiter House: Kavya Sharma (Captain)

  • Mars House: Tehseen Reyaaz and Ritesh Thakur

  • Venus House: Vasu Jaiswal and Pihu Singh

  • Neptune House: Sharmishta Chandra and Gitanshu Gupta

A dedicated team of councillors, including Hamza Alam, Harshita Pandey, Ariba Firdous, Sourav Paul, Yuvraj Sharma, and Piyush Kumar Kushwaha, will oversee essential functions such as cleanliness, spoken English, and assembly activities.
