Ranchi: All Jharkhand Students Union leaders today declared the party Lok Sabha election agenda on Saturday by terming the demand for special state status for Jharkhand as their top priority.
Party president and candidate from Ranchi constituency Sudesh Mahato said the party will continue to press the government to demand special state status for Jharkhand.
He said the party will go to any length to get its demands fulfilled. �Our party had taken to the streets to demand special state status for the state.
This is why we have made the demand as our poll plank,� said Mahato. Mahato said the state should now give electricity supply to other states instead of being a mere coal supplier state.
