Jamshedpur, Jan 2: A two day special prayer session was organized by Sai Pariwar Vishwa Seva Sansthan at Shri Sai Devsthanam at Ghorabandha in Telco for the New Year. On the occasion a musical rendition cum recitation of Sunderkand was held at the temple complex from 6 pm on December 31 last.
On Wednesday, January 1, prayers for the New Year commenced at 8 am. Madhyan Arti was performed at 12 noon, Dhoop Arti at 5 pm and from 6 pm Sai Sankirtan was organized. A special Hawan was organized by the managing committee for happiness, prosperity and peace of devotees. The two day New Year Utsav concluded with Shej Arti at 9 pm. More than 6,000 devotees partook of the consecrated food. The devotees went around the temple where they had �darshan� of Shri Sainath and other Gods and Goddesses in various parts of the temple.
The organizing committee comprised Rajiv Kumar, Anup Ranjan, Nutan Kumari, Rashmi Narayan, Dr Manoj Kumar Sinha, Ranjana Mukherjee, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Bhim Karmakar, Shiv Prasad Shah, Chandra Shekhar Singh, Durga Ghosh, Anju Shah, Rina Singh, Satish Kumar Singh, Rakesh Pandey, Uday Verma, Premi Devi and K Sriniwas.
