Jamshedpur, July 3: To manage the anticipated surge in passenger traffic, South Eastern Railway has announced the operation of special trains between Durg and Patna during July 2025.
Train number 08795 Durg–Patna Special will depart from Durg every Sunday between July 6 and July 27 at 13:15 hrs, reaching Patna the next day at 15:30 hrs. In the return direction, 08796 Patna–Durg Special will depart from Patna every Monday between July 7 and July 28 at 17:15 hrs and will arrive at Durg the next day at 22:35 hrs.
These special trains are being introduced to ease the extra rush of passengers during the season and will benefit those traveling between Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar.
The trains will halt at major stations under South Eastern Railway jurisdiction, including Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri and Bokaro Steel City.
