Jamshedpur: A special blood donation camp was organized on Thursday at Jamshedpur Blood Bank under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur chapter, in collaboration with the Blood Bank.
A total of 98 units of blood were collected during the camp. All blood donors were requested to donate blood on a regular basis at the interval of three months.
Those who want to donate blood for the first time should also come forth and perform their humanitarian duty, the Red Cross officials said.
The special camp was organized to deal with the shortage of blood during summer season.
