Munger: The year 2023 brings immense joy to Satyanarayan Yadav and his family in Topkhana Bazaar, Kotwali police station area of Munger, Bihar. Their long-lost son, who ran away from home 14 years ago, has returned as a young man, filling the household with happiness.
The family’s tale dates back to 2009 when Satyanarayan scolded Dheeraj, his youngest child, over a disagreement. In response, Dheeraj, driven by anger, left home. Extensive searches were conducted by family members from Munger to Patna and even Delhi, but Dheeraj remained elusive. Despite years of relentless efforts, hope dwindled, and the family assumed Dheeraj would never return.
However, against the odds, the family’s fortunes took a turn in the new year as Dheeraj, now a grown man, reappeared. The unexpected reunion has created an atmosphere of sheer joy and celebration in the household. His mother expressed her happiness, stating, “My Ram has returned from exile,” encapsulating the emotional significance of his homecoming after over a decade.
