Jamshedpur, Jan. 5: On the third day of the Module 1 of this Entrepreneurship Development Programme being organized by NRDC and RELEARN Foundation at Vijaya Garden in Baridih, Rashmi Saha, Soft skills trainer, interacted with the participants and conducted a session on soft skills.
Understanding the importance of soft skills for an entrepreneur Saha had a discussion with the participants about antiquates and communication skills. In the second half of the day participants were provided hands on training on making Green Garbage bags. The day�s proceedings were concluded by a demonstration on composting given by Dr. Mita Tarafder, Co-founder RELEARN foundation. This training program is being organized under the Skill India Scheme for Empowerment of Youth in North East and Rural areas of National Research Development Corporation.
Over the span of ten days the youth belonging to the age group of 21 yrs to 45 yrs from across the country will be trained on total waste management focusing on waste generated in rural areas, community waste collection system, value added product development by resource persons like Gaurav Anand, Chief Manager Jusco, P. Chatterjee former Chief scientist CSIR-CMERI, Prof. Prabal Kumar Sen, founder chairperson, EDC, XLRI, Dr. Mita Tarafder, Chief Scientist, CSIR- NML.
The module 1 of the training program hand been conducted in Vijaya Garden (Relearn Foundation Workshop) from 10am to 4pm. Module 2, starting Monday, 7th January, will be conducted in Tetla Panchayat Bhavan under the observation of Mukhya Dipantri Ji. There parallel training sessions on Green Garbage bags will also be conducted. A one month active training will be provided to the participants on the successful completion of this ten day training program.
