Jamshedpur: With the launch of the Special Intensive Revision–2003 (SIR-2003), all voters of the 47-Jugsalai (SC), 48-Jamshedpur East, and 49-Jamshedpur West Assembly constituencies in East Singhbhum district have been requested to verify their names in the electoral roll and submit the required details to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
The district election administration has urged voters to search for their names in the SIR-2003 electoral database and provide the relevant information to their BLOs by telephone. Voters can access the list of Booth Level Officers on the Election Commission of India’s official voter portal under the option “Book a call with BLO.”
For voters registered in Jharkhand, name verification can be carried out through the Chief Electoral Officer, Jharkhand website. Voters whose names were registered outside Jharkhand during the 2003 revision can search and retrieve their details from the national voter portal.
To assist voters during the verification process, toll-free helpline numbers 1950, 7992311534, and 7004922797 have been made operational. Election officials emphasized that the active participation of voters is essential to remove discrepancies, duplication, and errors from the electoral roll.
All voters have been requested to submit their 2003 SIR details by December 25, 2025. The administration has appealed to citizens to cooperate fully in the exercise, stating that the successful implementation of the Special Intensive Revision–2003 will help ensure a clean, accurate, and transparent electoral roll, strengthening the democratic process.
