Jamshedpur: Shyam Bhatli Parivar Charitable Trust (SBPCT) Jamshedpur unit organized the monthly Shyam Kirtan Mahotsav at Prahlad Palsania�s residence in Telco. The religious function commenced with Ganesh Vandana. The worship rituals of Baba Shyam commenced at 8 pm with the hosts Shilpi and Manoj Palsania performing the prayers under the supervision of priest Ramji Parikh who also tied the holy thread on the wrists of devotees. The points of interest included the attractively decorated throne of the Deity, the offering of 56 types of food and fruits for consecration, Akhand Jyot and distribution of the consecrated food among devotees.
After the rituals, a rich array of devotional songs was presented by Anis Gadodia, Bunty Changil, Niraj Jalan, Kavita Dhut, Mamata Gadodia and Rohit Gulati added to the aura of devotion. The function continued till 1 am.
The organizing team comprised SBPCT president Rajesh Pasari, Shambhu Khanna, Sanjay Palsania, Sudhir Agrawal, Ganesh Bhalotia, Vijay Agrawal, Govind Debuka, Ayush Pasari, Anil Goyal, Mamata Goyal and Pravin Jalan.
