Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel District Chairman Shweta Sinha made an official visit to Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur on Monday. Her programme started with the inauguration of Happy School�Karimia Urdu Middle School, N one type on Monday morning. She was welcomed by the other members of the club and also the Principal, teachers and the students of the school.
She visited and inaugurated the 2nd Happy School � P S Balvikas, Kadma where she inquired about the progress of the school by the Principal.
Around 10 am she inaugurated the Toilet at Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir. This Project was sanctioned by the District. At 10:30 she inaugurated the Park �Upavan� at MTMH.
She also inaugurated the club’s 3rd sanitary pad vending machine at Karim City College where she talked about the Pad habits, health and hygiene of the students. She also shed light on women and girl child empowerment.
Later, she visited Lupundih Village where she inaugurated the toilet which was sanctioned by the District. She also handed over a sewing machine and an Almirah to the girls of vocational class at JHRDC.
District Chairman Shweta Sinha also visited Jagriti Centre and met the children. She asked about the activities of the club and was very happy to see their work.
Later on District Chairman handed over the Food Cart to Transgenders with an aim to empower them and involve them in the society so that they can also feel as a part of the society.
General Body Meeting was held in the evening with the members of the Club. District Chairman was very happy with the Club Projects and the work of the club members. She appreciated each one for their efforts directly or indirectly.
PDC Aruna Taneja and club President Alokananda Bakshi were also present.
