Jamshedpur: Young Indians (Yi) Jamshedpur announced a change in leadership during its annual ceremony, marking the beginning of a new organisational year. Outgoing 2025 Chair Kaushik Modi formally handed over responsibilities to Shruti Jhunjhunwala as Chair for 2026, with Bhavin Gandhi appointed as Co-Chair.
The leadership transition symbolises continuity and renewal within the organisation. The new team appreciated the initiatives and achievements of the previous year and pledged to build upon them with greater impact. Addressing the gathering, Shruti Jhunjhunwala said leadership is defined not by position but by responsibility and the ability to bring meaningful change.
She added that in the coming year, Yi Jamshedpur will focus on impactful, youth-centric and community-oriented programmes aimed at contributing to the city’s development. Members expressed confidence that the new leadership would strengthen the organisation’s role in social and civic engagement.
