Jamshedpur, Jan. 19: Graduation Nite is unequaled in the eyes of teenagers and it is the nostalgic moment, proud moment and moment to be cherished. ADLS Sunshine School organized Graduation Nite for the 2018-2019 outgoing batch in the school premises on Saturday. The members of the school management, principal, staff, parents and students were witness to a remarkable day.
The ceremony celebrated the past achievements and looked forward to the future endeavors. The day was a new start of next adventure and it began with National Anthem. The Principal, Indrani Singh in her welcome address congratulated the graduating students on their academic achievements and wished them a rewarding career.
As the road of life is wide open, she advised students to work hard and burn the midnight oil to see the dreams come true. She hoped that the students will face new challenges with passion, willingness and perseverance. The zest for perfection will result in spectacular achievement, she said. Many cultural programs made this day a remarkable one. The lesson of National Integration was taught through song followed by the lamp procession by the students of outgoing batch. ‘Guiding light’ the march by the Principal and the teachers symbolized that the students to keep the light of education shall always remain alive.
The song Ekla Chalo made everybody nostalgic. The most awaited moment was the launch of the Year Book ‘Nostalgia’. The melodious Baul song was presented by the Sunshine choir. To add colour to the day, various dance performances were put up which included western dance, Chhau dance, Michael Jackson spin. ITER- A Journey of the shown in the form of PPT. The students were also awarded with school mementos and with various academic titles.
Master of English Lang- Zunaira iqbal, Master of English Lit- Anant Kumar, Master of Hindi- Zeenat Parween, Master of Mathematics- Prashant Kumar, Master of Physics- Anant Kumar, Master of Chemistry- Gaurav Mahato, Master of Biology- Nilufar Akhtar, Master of Biotechnology- K Sai Bhaskar, Master of Computer Science- Anant Kumar, Master of Economics- Muskan Kumari, Master of Accounts- Shweta Khandelwal, Master of Commerce- Ayesha Naseem, Master of Business Studies- Ayesha Naseem, and Master of Sports was bagged by Karanjeet Singh. The most disciplined student award was received by Sharon Patro and Gift of Gab for excellent eloquence was won by Shiksha Khadka.
A special Principal’s Award was given to Shikha Gupta, who has shown outstanding performance not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities. She has been an all-rounder throughout her schooling in plus 2.
