Jamshedpur, Oct 6: The Environment Club of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) engaged the pupils in a variety of activities on the occasion of Wildlife Week, celebrated every year from 2nd to 8th October.
To raise awareness about flora and fauna and in order to sensitize younger generation to take small initiatives to conserve the beauty in the unique planet, Wildlife Week had been observed on a virtual platform
Events which ran through the week were singing, recitation, speech, story� narration, etc. The students were engaged in preparing food chains, bingo game, making power point presentations and in capturing the wildlife in cameras. Students thoroughly enjoyed mask making, slogan writing, model making, stone painting and in dressing up in a wild attire. Quiz on Wildlife further added to their knowledge and competence.
The weeklong project was concluded with a colourful program “Celebrating Wildlife”. It accomplished success in sensitizing the students, staff and the stakeholders. The school management guides the clubs to be active throughout the session, and contributes to the society for a better tomorrow.
