Jamshedpur, Nov 28: The Ghatshila – based Sona Devi University, marked the 5th anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) with an impactful awareness programme at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium today, Nov 28.

The event focussed on fostering a drug-free campus and educating students about the harmful effects of substance abuse.
Students took a collective pledge:
“I will not take drugs, nor will I allow anyone else to do so,” reaffirming their commitment to a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle. Speakers highlighted how drug addiction hinders personal growth, obstructs community development and weakens the foundation of a safe and progressive nation.
Enthusiastic participation marked the event, with students expressing their resolve to play an active role in eliminating drug abuse from society. The programme was effectively conducted by NSS Programme Officer ,Patatari Mali, who encouraged the youth to inspire others and contribute to building a drug-free future.
