Saraikela youth murdered

Jamshedpur: A rural youth from a village in Saraikela-Kharsawan district under the Kolhan division was murdered and his body was flung into a well. Local villagers today spotted blood near the well and found the body of the youth afloat.

The villagers informed the Saraikela police who arrived at the spot and pulled out the body with the help of the villagers. The youth�s age has been stated to be between 25-30 years. At the time of going to press, the body had not been identified and the police are trying to find out the identity.

The body was recovered from a well in Kendposi Tola of Badvil village under Pandra Panchayat. The villagers suspect that the scene of crime was somewhere far from the village and that the murderers had thrown the body in the well to escape police hunt. There was an injury mark on the head of the murdered youth which, they believe, had been caused by a sharp weapon.
