Jamshedpur: Members of Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Mahasabha put up a demonstration before the office of the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal and alleged that the district administration had taken a wrong step by allowing auction of sand ghats in the district without consulting members of committees involving people belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category.
The district president of the outfit Niyaran Herenj led the outfit members during the demonstration. A memorandum addressed to the governor of Jharkhand was handed over to the DC.
