Samarpan lends a helping hand to the needy

Jamshedpur, Sept. 8 : Lalit Das, son of Raghubar Das and convener of social organisation Samarpan on Thursday visited Utkramit Prathmik Vidyalaya, situated at Santhal Basti, Moharada in Baridih, to celebrate International Literacy day among children of the school.

Das distributed study kits comprising copy, pencil, eraser, and sharpener among underprivileged kids of the school.

Das interacted with the school administration, teachers, students and local residents. He said that that education plays an important role in the development of an individual and the society. An educated person can understand the difference between good and evil. He knows very well his right as well as his duty. Small school children asked him for sports kit.

Das promised them that very soon, team Samarpan will distribute them two pieces of football, 14 sets of jersey, badminton set, skipping rope etc. The school administration also requested him for the necessity of electric connection, ceiling fans, new bench-desk in the school.

Das assured them that he will discuss with the officials of the concerned departments to fulfill their demands and the Samarpan will donate three pieces ceiling fans to the school.
