Jamshedpur, Sep 13: City bus service resumed on the Sakchi-Telco route on Tuesday after a gap of around five years. Three buses were pressed into service on the said route today.
According to Vivek Kumar Singh, general secretary of Shikshit Berojgar Mini Bus Association, “Bus service on this route was not available for the last five years. Today it was started at the request of public. I hope it would continue in a hassle-free manner.”
Former general secretary of the Association Shivram Jha said very soon five buses would be seen plying on Sakchi-Telco route. Association president Sanjay Pandey said mini bus service would be started on all routes across the city very soon.
