Jamshedpur, Sept. 11: During COVID lockdown people faced difficulty in visiting doctors and hospital OPDs. There is good news for those facing difficulty in visiting doctors during corona times or suffering from diseases. �Rotary Club of Jamshedpur launched free telemedicine facility specially for Basti and Rural population around Steel City. This facility would help citizens consult doctors using Curofone.
It will be conducted using Curofone� a telemedicine platform provided by M/S TAS India Private Ltd, a Pune based digital healthcare solutions provider.
This free service will be available from 11.30 am � 1.00 pm every day. This technology based services will be available initially from Rotary Vividh Seva Kendra Palasbani Village on NH-33 about 20 Km from Steel City. However, within next one week Telemedicine services will be available from all remote centres of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur as well as through the Curofone mobile App.
With this facility, patients from remote locations will be able to avail treatment from eminent and specialist Doctors of Jamshedpur without travelling to the city through Video Consultation and will able to get e-prescription also for procurement of prescribed medicine. Treatment will be carried out as per Telemedicine Practice Guideline notified by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Patients may avail consultation of eminent Doctors of the city and member of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur who are offering their voluntary free services to the underprivileged of the society.
Doctors who would be providing free consultation include Dr. R Bharat, Dr. NC Singhal, Dr. Vijaya Bharat, Dr. Rashne Tata, Dr. Bachoo Master, Dr. Mandar Shah, Dr.SK Dua, Dr. VSP Sinha, Dr. Sourav Banerjee, Dr. Arun Raisurana and Dr. Sanjay Jouhury.
